THE QUEEN OF HOLLYWOOD 2015
The lights were shining, the stars were out, and the people were arriving for a Magical Night of Celebration at the Hilton on Hollywood Drive at Universal Studios, where Magic Image Hollywood Magazine’s Queen of Hollywood would be crowned. The night was December 6th, the photographers filled their cameras with shots—both candid and posed—of the glitz, the glamour and the beauty, with contestants representing the most beautiful countries of the world, such as Ukraine, United States, Russia, and Brazil.
Participants: Baylee Curran, Jennifer Zhu, Karra Mane, Maddie Chris, Mariana Alencar, Natalya Lee, Net Chittangkura, Oksanna Romanov, Sam Vrcic, Taisiia Babiuk, Victoria Angel, Sandrine Chelly, Morgan Prada and Samilla Cardoso.
Participants were trained and directed by Luna Studio.
Opening dance choreography by Khatan Yadma.
The Celebrity Judges had a hard time deciding whom to crown The Queen of Hollywood, where beauty was hard enough to discern, as they were all gorgeous. But jaws practically dropped when some of the talents were displayed on stage that night, from dancing to opera to bridal dress painting, each unique and distinguished in their own special way.
Hosted by dapper duo Dustin Quick and Tony Garza, in between the phases of the competition, other performers graced the stage with their talents including Griffith Frank and Richard Villa, to entertain the guests to this wonderful evening, among whom were Corey Feldman (of Goonies, Stand By Me, and Lost Boys fame), Ola Ray (Michael Jackson’s girlfriend in the world famous Thriller video), Ken Davitian (Borat, The Artist), Steve Goldfield (Producer and Actor), Nikkolas Rey (Owner/Agent Alvarado Talent Agency), Mitzy (International Celebrity Designer), Jose Luis Gonzalez (Producer, Host, Jose Luis sin Censura) and Dr. Robert Rey (Dr. 90210 himself), just to name a few.
And after the flurry of fun, dresses and dances, the night concluded with the crowning of The Queen of Hollywood, Mariana Alencar, from Brazil. The First Runner Up was Jennifer Zhu, from China, and the Second Runner Up was Maggie Lane, representing the good ol’ U.S. of A, Fourth place Oksanna Romanov and Fifth place Taisiia Babiuk and Net Chittangkura.
