THE AMAZING YAMANI CALIWARA

MAGIC IMAGE HOLLYWOOD MAGAZINE HAD THE OPPORTUNITY OF INTERVIEWING
PROFESSIONAL INTERNATIONAL STYLIST AND ENTREPRENEUR YAMANI CALIWARA,
SHE OPENED HER HEART TO US AND TALKED ABOUT HER CAREER AND PROJECTS;
LET’S SEE WHAT SHE IS ALL ABOUT…

MIHM-Tell us a little bit about you, where are you from and
what inspired you to pursue a career in fashion, the glamour
field, and as a professional international stylist.
YC-I was born and raised in the Philippines. I had a Bachelor’s
degree in Interior Design and I took up Fashion Styling at Style
2020 Academy, Los Angeles. I just love anything related to art,
whether it is design, beauty, fashion or styling. Since I was young,
I have always been a creative person. I think it was inherently in
my blood.

MIHM-Tell us about House Of Yamani.
YC-House of Yamani is my styling company. I created my personal
brand, House Of Yamani, where I combined my studies at Style
2020 Academy, Los Angeles. House Of Yamani lets you embody
your character, status and the image you want to project, with
personalized hair, makeup, wardrobe collaboration and fashion
styling services. House Of Yamani makes sure you look and dress
for success in every occasion.

MIHM-Define what success means to you.
YC-Success means contentment, happiness and having inner peace.

MIHM-You received The Paul Harris Fellow Award. Tell us about it.
YC-I am proud and honored to receive this award. The Paul Harris
Fellow recognition acknowledges individuals who contribute
financially and help the organization fulfill their social responsibility.
The Paul Harris Fellow Award is the highest award an individual
Rotarian can receive.

MIHM-You were inducted into Soroptimist International. Tell us
more.
YC-Soroptimist International (SI) is a worldwide volunteer service
organization for women who work for peace, equality and international
goodwill for women throughout the world.

MIHM-Have you done any modeling or acting before, and would
you be interested in a career in Hollywood?
YC-Yes, I did several TV commercials and print ads. I started modeling
at an early age and my first acting experience was on stage.
Hollywood is a great opportunity and good for my business.

MIHM-What do you think about the current situation in the
country and what do you think you can do to change it or to make
it better?

YC-Our country is very polarized. The political and economic climate
are very unstable. There are conflicts in every facet of the society.
These are very complex problems. As an entrepreneur, I think I can
help solve these problems through the grassroots level. I will help
educate the new generation to better prepare them for the future. I
will share our experiences and mistakes so they can learn from it. I
would foster civility, peace, and proper human behavior. Hopefully,
this humble effort of mine helps improve our situation in the future.

MIHM-Who have been your biggest mentors in your
career?
YC-I’ve had great mentors, and these are my professional
friends who are successful in their fields. They
instilled in me the value of hard work, discipline and
having a positive outlook in life. They inspired me to
achieve my goals by staying focused and motivated.

MIHM-What other projects are you working on right
now?
YC-I’m currently working on my House Of Yamani
clothing line.
MIHM-How can people reach you? Do you have
social media, website, etc.?
YC-Yes, I do. My website is: www.houseofyamani.com
